Kurt Plötner

Kurt Plötner held managerial positions for around 30 years until 2021 at Hamburg-based Stulz, which produces humidification systems and air-conditioning units for data centres and industry, as well as providing maintenance and customer service for air-conditioning systems. The company has 7,300 employees worldwide. Most recently, Plötner was vice president of Stulz Germany – a post he held for 10 years. Prior to that, he spent 16 years as an authorized signatory and director with global responsibility for product sales and marketing. Plötner acquired extensive experience in energy-saving consulting for data centres in China as former vice chairman of Stulz Air Technology & Services in Shanghai and of Stulz Cooling & Heating Engineering in Hangzhou. He continues to act as a consultant for Stulz.
