Jennifer Morgan

Jennifer Morgan is State Secretary and Special Representative for International Climate Policy at the Federal Foreign Office, Germany - a post she has held since March 2022. Born and raised in the US, she studied political science and international relations at Indiana University, Bloomington and at the American University in Washington. Ms Morgan was executive director of Greenpeace International from 2016 until she joined the Federal Foreign Office. During her career, she has also had roles at WWF International, where she was director of its Global Climate Campaign, and the think tank Climate Program for the World Resources Institute. In addition, Ms Morgan served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and the Council for Sustainable Development of the German Federal Government.
