Intro
CHINA TIME 2022 addresses one of the most pressing challenges and important issues of our time - climate change. As an established high-level exchange forum, CHINA TIME is inviting representatives and experts in related fields from Germany, other European countries and China to a two-day symposium, titled “Discussing EU-China Climate Cooperation”, to share viewpoints and discuss strategies for tackling the climate crisis.
The event will include a number of panel debates exploring topical themes such as how international climate cooperation can be strengthened between the EU and China, and the importance of finding long-term solutions to the crisis. Other timely issues on the agenda include the economic effects of climate cooperation and the role earmarked for urban initiatives.
High-profile experts in the fields of science, politics, culture and business, among others, are scheduled to address the symposium. Keynote speakers that are confirmed to attend include: Jennifer Morgan, State Secretary at the Federal Foreign Office and Special Representative for International Climate Policy, Germany; Jacob Werksman, Principal Advisor to the Directorate General for Climate Action in the Eu Commission; Dr. Christine Loh, Chief Development Strategist of the Environment Institute of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; and Prof. Dr Mojib Latif, climate scientist and President of the Academy of Science Hamburg.

Kurt Plötner held managerial positions for around 30 years until 2021 at Hamburg-based Stulz, which produces humidification systems and air-conditioning units for data centres and industry, as well as providing maintenance and customer service for air-conditioning systems.
Philipp Lehnert is CEO of the Vector Foiltec Group – a post he has held since 2018. The roof and facade systems company from Bremen operates globally, with production sites in Germany and China.
